The 2024 Slipcover Summit will take place Friday, November 8 - Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the GreenLife Inn in Tryon, NC.*  This is a unique opportunity to spend time together with other custom workroom owners and slipcover makers.  We've booked the entire inn for a Thursday arrival - Sunday departure.  This will be a fun learning experience with slipcover makers, teachers, and friends.
 
Instructors are Emily Pettit, Jeanelle Dech, and Jonathan Bennett. Each will be demonstrating their slipcover methods on a unique style of furniture. The great room of the inn has a lot of furniture to choose from!  Susan Woodcock will be on-hand to share specialty techniques.
 
There are two choices for attending...
1) Stay at the inn in a single or a double/shared room
2)  Book your own lodging off-site

Gather at Greenlife Inn to check-in and meet attendees and instructors.  Dinner on your own.
 
Friday, November 8, 2024
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Learn about fabrics and selling/working in client's homes. Instructors will introduce their projects and begin patterning, cutting and fitting. Attendees can watch, assist or practice on their own pieces. Lunch and dinner on your own.
 
Saturday, November 9, 2024
9:00 am = 5:00 pm 
Continue with slipcover fabrication, sewing and learning specialty skills.  Lunch on your own.
6:00 - 8:00 pm
Buffet dinner "that's a wrap party" at GreenLife Inn.
 
Sunday, November 10, 2024 
Check out by 11:00 am
 
*Workroom Tech will be open for use of industrial machines, worktables and tools. You are welcome to bring your own machine to set up at the Inn.
