Chair Slipcover Workshop: Level II

Friday, June 12 - Saturday, June 13, 2020

9:00 am - 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break on your own

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are not accepting any class registrations at this time


In this hands-on workshop, students will bring a chair of their choice, and learn to fit and sew a custom, slipcover. Participants should have completed the Parsons Chair Slipcovers: Level I class, or have some prior, basic slipcover sewing experience.  All projects to be submitted in advance to the instructor for recommendations on fabric selection, pre-work and yardage. 


After this class you will have the confidence to try more challenging slipcover projects and take your skills to the next level.


Included in this class:

  • fabric pattern placement and matching
  • pin fitting
  • applying welt cord
  • adding skirts
  • working around arms and corners
  • zipper and other closures
  • sewing techniques
  • and much more!


Chair Slipcover Workshop: Level II

  • Students will bring their own face fabric.  All other tools, materials and supplies will be provided by Workroom Tech.  Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an email with yardage requirements and other information for attending this class.
