"Get it Done" Drapery Weekend
Saturday, November 23 - Sunday, November 24, 2019
9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch on your own
Instructor: Susan Woodcock
Space is limited to 3 people.
Do you know how to sew but you don't have a dedicated space for finishing curtains and window treatments? Or, perhaps you have a half-finished project that you would like to finish before the holidays! Then you should take advantage of this special, "Get it Done" weekend at Workroom Tech; a focused time working together with new friends who enjoy sewing and creating home decor.
In this special 2-day open workshop, students will bring their own drapery projects to work on in class, whether it's something brand new, or an unfinished project. Susan Woodcock will be available to answer questions, provide guidance and offer help as needed. Students are expected to bring projects that fit their skill level.
Each attendee will have use of a 5' x 10' professional workroom table and equipment including industrial straight stitch, walking foot, overlock and blind hemming machines, grommet and button press and pneumatic staple guns. Sewing kits will be provided with scissors, marking pens, rulers, pins, hand sewing needles and irons. (Bring your own sewing machine if you like).
Students will bring what is needed to complete the job. Some materials and supplies can be purchased from Workroom Tech with advance notice. Contact Susan Woodcock to learn more, and to discuss your project. Susan@WorkroomTech.com
