If you love home décor and want to learn how to build custom window treatments, this is the class for you! In this hands-on class, you will learn how to design and construct professional-quality skeleton frame cornices using industry techniques and tools. This is a beginning-level class, and no prior upholstery or woodworking experience is required.
Class projects include constructing a skeleton frame cornice, padding and wrapping the frame, and applying fabric for a clean, tailored finish. Robin will also demonstrate professional techniques for achieving crisp corners, smooth fabric application, and secure installation.
Each student will have access to the tools and equipment needed to complete their project during class. A materials list, including recommended fabrics and supplies to bring, will be provided prior to class.
